1. BA4560RFJ-GE2 Substitution Conclusion The BA4560RFJ-GE2 cannot directly replace the original part ISL55002IBZ-T7, as there is a substantial gap in their core performance parameters. Forcing a substitution would render the circuit completely nonfunctional in high-speed applications. The key differences are as follows: Bandwidth and Slew Rate – The ISL55002 offers a gain-bandwidth product (70 MHz) and slew rate (300 V/µs) more than an order of magnitude higher than those of the BA4560 (4 MHz, 4 V/µs). The BA4560 is entirely incapable of processing rapidly changing signals found in video, high-speed data acquisition, or RF circuits. Its slow response would cause severe signal distortion. Supply Voltage Range – The BA4560’s minimum operating voltage (8 V) is significantly higher than that of the ISL55002 (4.5 V), making it incompatible with single-supply 5 V or lower voltage systems. Input Offset Voltage – The BA4560’s 500 µV offset is better than the ISL55002’s 1.2 mV, which could be an advantage in low-speed applications requiring high DC accuracy. However, this benefit is negligible compared to its critical speed limitations. In summary, the BA4560 should only be regarded as a general-purpose low-speed dual op-amp, suitable only for low-frequency circuits such as audio or sensor conditioning where bandwidth and slew rate are not critical. It must not be used in any high-speed signal chain for which the original ISL55002 was designed.
