1. ADTL082ARZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion
This device is a direct drop-in replacement in terms of package (8-SOIC) and channel count (dual op-amp). However, its core J-FET input technology fundamentally differs from the original standard BJT amplifier. The key distinctions are as follows: Its input bias current (2 pA) is extremely low—four orders of magnitude lower than the original (20 nA). This significantly reduces error currents in signal conditioning circuits involving high-impedance sensors (e.g., photodiodes), offering superior performance. Furthermore, its gain bandwidth product (5 MHz) and slew rate (20 V/µs) are substantially higher than the original, enabling it to handle higher frequency and faster transient signals. The trade-offs are a doubled quiescent current (increased power dissipation) and a higher minimum operating voltage requirement (8V vs. 3V). Consequently, it cannot be used in low-voltage systems with single-supply rails of 3.3V or 5V, limiting its substitution in applications requiring low power consumption or wide low-voltage operation.
2. TLE2061ID Substitution Conclusion
The feasibility of substituting with this part is very low. The primary obstacle is the channel count mismatch (single vs. dual), which results in completely different pinout definitions, making physical replacement impossible without modifying the PCB layout. Even if only one channel of the original dual op-amp is utilized, pin compatibility must be verified, and half of the new chip would likely be wasted. From a technical parameter perspective, it also features J-FET input with very low input bias current (4 pA) and higher output drive capability (80 mA). However, its improvements in slew rate and bandwidth (3.4 V/µs, 2 MHz) are not as significant as those of the ADTL082. Unless the circuit design permits and there is a willingness to redesign the PCB for a single op-amp, this part is not a viable direct replacement.
