1. OP282GSZ Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended. While its supply voltage range covers and slightly exceeds that of the LM833D, and it features an extremely low input bias current, the critical difference lies in its significantly lower gain bandwidth product (4 MHz) compared to the original part (16 MHz). This will severely degrade the usable bandwidth under high closed-loop gain and the high-frequency audio response capability. Furthermore, its output drive capability (10 mA) is far inferior to the LM833D's (37 mA). When driving low-impedance loads such as headphones or long cables, performance will deteriorate, potentially leading to output distortion or insufficient volume. These discrepancies make it unsuitable for direct replacement of the LM833D in typical audio amplifier circuits requiring wide bandwidth and moderate output power.
2. AD706JRZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended. Its primary advantages are ultra-low input offset voltage (30 µV) and bias current (50 pA), which are generally not critical for audio applications. The fatal differences are its slew rate (0.15 V/µs) and gain bandwidth product (800 kHz), both far lower than those of the LM833D (7 V/µs, 16 MHz). The circuit's ability to handle rapid changes in audio signals (transient response) and its usable bandwidth will be severely limited, preventing accurate reproduction of mid-to-high-frequency audio content. This will inevitably result in severe distortion and loss of dynamic performance. It is an excellent precision DC amplifier but is entirely unsuitable for audio applications.
