1. TLC252ACD Substitution Conclusion
The TLC252ACD can serve as a viable replacement for the TS272ACDT, provided its key DC parameters (input bias current of 1 pA, offset voltage of 900 µV) and package (8-SOIC) are fully compatible, and its supply voltage range (1.4 V to 16 V) is even wider. However, note that its slew rate (2.9 V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (2.2 MHz) are both lower than those of the original part (5.5 V/µs, 3.5 MHz). This may lead to insufficient performance in high-frequency or fast transient response applications. Additionally, its quiescent current (1.9 mA per channel) is approximately twice that of the original part (1 mA per channel), which could impact low-power designs.
2. TLC252CD Substitution Conclusion
The TLC252CD has lower feasibility as a direct substitute, primarily due to its significantly higher input offset voltage (1.1 mV) compared to the original part (900 µV). This degradation in DC accuracy may introduce considerable error in amplification or sensor signal conditioning circuits requiring high precision. Although it offers a better input bias current (0.6 pA) and shares the same slew rate, bandwidth, and package as the TLC252ACD, the worsened offset voltage makes it unsuitable for directly replacing the TS272ACDT, unless the application has very relaxed DC offset requirements.
