1. LMV324BG-13 Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is generally not recommended. The LMV324BG-13 is comprehensively inferior to the original part in core AC performance: its slew rate (1 V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (1 MHz) are both lower, degrading its ability to process fast signals or maintain bandwidth under high gain. Furthermore, its input bias current (15 nA) is significantly higher, introducing greater error with high-impedance signal sources. While it offers stronger output drive capability (90 mA) and maintains compatibility in package and supply voltage, these advantages do not compensate for the degradation in critical precision and speed specifications. In most applications, the performance of the original design cannot be guaranteed.
2. TSV854AIDT Substitution Conclusion
Substitution is recommended and, for demanding applications, represents a performance upgrade. The TSV854AIDT matches or exceeds the original part in several key parameters: it features a lower input offset voltage (800 µV) for improved DC accuracy, a stronger output drive current (70 mA), and supports a wider lower supply voltage limit (2.5 V). Although its slew rate (0.7 V/µs) and input bias current (27 nA) are slightly inferior, the impact is minimal for general-purpose low-frequency applications. Additionally, its AEC-Q100 automotive-grade qualification typically provides advantages in reliability and operating temperature range, making it a superior choice for industrial or automotive applications.
