1. LM358DR Substitution Conclusion In most general-purpose low-frequency applications, the LM358DR can directly replace the LM358ADR2G. Both share the same core architecture, package (8-SOIC), and fundamental characteristics (rail-to-rail output, wide single/dual supply operation). The key differences are: the LM358DR has a slightly lower gain-bandwidth product (700 kHz vs. 1 MHz), which may result in marginally weaker performance in high-frequency small-signal processing. Its input bias current (20 nA) is superior, but its input offset voltage (3 mV vs. 2 mV) is slightly worse. In applications demanding extremely high DC precision, this offset may require re-evaluation; however, for common amplifier, filter, or comparator circuits, this difference is generally acceptable. As different manufacturer versions of the same standard part number, the LM358DR is a qualified substitute. Post-replacement, it is necessary to verify that the bandwidth and DC accuracy still meet the system requirements.
2. TLE2062CDR Substitution Conclusion The TLE2062CDR offers significantly superior performance compared to the original part. However, due to a fundamentally different input stage architecture (J-FET vs. standard bipolar), it is a conditional substitute, suitable for scenarios requiring a performance upgrade. Key differences include: an extremely low input bias current (4 pA vs. 45 nA), making it highly suitable for high-impedance sensor interfaces, integrator circuits, and other applications sensitive to input current; a higher gain-bandwidth product (2 MHz) and slew rate (3.4 V/µs), providing improved frequency and transient response. A critical limitation is its minimum operating voltage of 7V (vs. 3V), preventing its use in common 3.3V or 5V single-supply systems. If the original design operates above 7V and higher performance is desired, the TLE2062CDR is an excellent substitute. Otherwise, due to supply voltage incompatibility, it is not a direct replacement.
