1. LMV324ID Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended. Although the LMV324ID shares the same package and basic functional compatibility with the LMV344ID, their key parameters differ significantly: the input bias current (15 nA vs. 1 pA) is four orders of magnitude higher, the input offset voltage (1.7 mV vs. 250 μV) is nearly seven times greater, and the quiescent current (410 μA vs. 107 μA) is approximately four times higher. The DC accuracy of the LMV324ID is substantially lower than that of the original part, which may introduce considerable error in applications involving high-impedance signal sources, high gain, or precision measurement. Additionally, its higher power consumption makes it unsuitable for power-sensitive designs.
2. AD8694ARZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion Conditional substitution is feasible, subject to system requirements evaluation. The AD8694 offers significantly better bandwidth (10 MHz vs. 1 MHz) and slew rate (5 V/μs vs. 1 V/μs) compared to the LMV344, making it suitable for higher-frequency or fast-transient-response applications. Its input bias current (1 pA) and low offset voltage (400 μV) are close to those of the original part, providing good DC accuracy. However, its quiescent current (950 μA) is about nine times higher, leading to substantially increased power consumption, and its minimum operating voltage is slightly higher (2.7 V vs. 2.5 V). Substitution is acceptable if the system demands improved dynamic performance and can tolerate higher power dissipation; otherwise, it is not suitable for low-power or ultra-low-voltage applications.
