1. LF253DT Substitution Conclusion The LF253DT exhibits significant technical deviations as a substitute. Its advantages include a higher slew rate (16 V/µs), stronger output drive capability (40 mA), and a wider minimum supply voltage (6 V), making it suitable for applications demanding fast dynamic response and high load drive. Key drawbacks are its substantially higher input offset voltage (3 mV, approximately 8.5× that of the AD8682) and higher input bias current (20 pA), which directly degrade DC accuracy. Additionally, its quiescent current (1.4 mA per channel) is significantly higher, potentially impacting system power efficiency and thermal design. The LF253DT is not suitable for applications with strict precision and low‑power requirements, such as sensor signal conditioning or precision measurement. It may be considered only where speed and drive capability are prioritized over accuracy, and where calibration or tolerance for reduced precision is acceptable.
2. TL062IDT Substitution Conclusion The TL062IDT has limited viability as a replacement, as its key performance parameters are comprehensively inferior to the original part. Its gain‑bandwidth product (1 MHz) and slew rate (3.5 V/µs) are only about one‑third and one‑half those of the AD8682, respectively, restricting high‑frequency signal‑handling capability. Moreover, its input offset voltage (3 mV) and bias current (30 pA) are poorer, affecting DC accuracy. Although its quiescent current (200 µA per channel) is comparable to the AD8682 and suitable for low‑power scenarios, the overall performance degradation is considerable. The TL062IDT might be marginally acceptable only in very low‑frequency applications where bandwidth and speed are minimal and some accuracy loss can be tolerated—such as simple filtering or buffering. It is not recommended for most precision or mid‑frequency applications.
