1. AD712KRZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion The AD712KRZ-REEL7 is not recommended as a direct replacement for the OPA2107AU/2K5G4. Although both devices are compatible in terms of supply voltage range (9–36 V) and package (8-SOIC), there are significant differences in key specifications. The AD712 exhibits an input bias current (25 pA) one order of magnitude higher than that of the OPA2107 (4 pA), an input offset voltage (300 µV) three times greater than the original (100 µV), and lower output drive capability (25 mA). In applications demanding high precision, low noise, or strong load driving—such as sensor signal conditioning or precision current sources—the AD712 may introduce greater error or degraded performance. It is only suitable for general-purpose applications where input errors are not critical.
2. AD8620ARZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion The AD8620ARZ-REEL can conditionally replace the OPA2107AU/2K5G4, provided the supply voltage range is strictly evaluated. The AD8620 outperforms the original part in dynamic performance and precision metrics, including bandwidth (25 MHz), slew rate (60 V/µs), input bias current (3 pA), and offset voltage (85 µV). However, its supply range is narrower (10–26 V) and does not cover the full 9–36 V range of the OPA2107. If the actual circuit operates within 10–26 V, the AD8620 can offer higher speed and accuracy. If the system requires operation near 36 V or relies on wide supply margin for redundancy, the substitution is not viable.
