1. LT1396CS8TRPBF Substitution Conclusion
The LT1396CS8TRPBF is not a suitable direct replacement for the OPA2674IDG4. Its most critical shortcomings are a severely insufficient output drive capability (80mA vs. 500mA) and a significantly lower slew rate (800V/µs vs. 2000V/µs). Consequently, it cannot drive the same low-impedance or capacitive loads, and its high-frequency response under large-signal conditions will be substantially slower, likely failing to meet the original design's dynamic performance or power output requirements. Although it offers extremely low power consumption and a slightly higher -3dB bandwidth, these advantages do not compensate for the core performance gap. It is only suitable for low-power, small-signal applications where drive capability and slew rate are not critical.
2. AD8008ARZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion
The AD8008ARZ-REEL can be considered as a potential substitute under specific conditions, but requires careful evaluation. It offers advantages over the original part in -3dB bandwidth (500MHz vs. 250MHz) and input offset voltage (500µV vs. 1mV), providing better potential for small-signal gain accuracy and absolute bandwidth. However, its output drive current (130mA) and slew rate (1000V/µs) remain significantly lower than those of the OPA2674. This directly limits its performance in applications requiring the drive of heavy loads (e.g., cables, multiple video lines) or the processing of very high-speed, large-amplitude signals. If the application does not demand high drive capability and large-signal bandwidth but prioritizes bandwidth and precision, the AD8008 could be a viable upgrade option. Otherwise, it is similarly inadequate for the task.
