1. AD8008ARZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion The AD8008ARZ-REEL7 is not a direct substitute for the OPA2674IDR. The substitution is unfeasible due to its significantly lower output drive current (130mA vs. 500mA) and lower slew rate (1000V/µs vs. 2000V/µs). It is entirely incapable of handling the heavy loads—such as cables or ADCs—or the high-speed signal transitions for which the original part was specified. While its superior input bias current (4µA) and input offset voltage (500µV) can improve DC accuracy, these advantages do not compensate for the fundamental deficiencies in drive strength and speed. Implementing this substitution would severely degrade system dynamic performance and likely result in functional failure.
2. EL5263ISZ-T13 Substitution Conclusion The EL5263ISZ-T13 is also not a suitable direct replacement for the OPA2674IDR. Its most critical limitation is similarly its inadequate output drive current (100mA vs. 500mA), which renders it incapable of matching the required load-driving capability. Although it offers a higher slew rate (4000V/µs) and -3dB bandwidth (500MHz), along with very low quiescent current (1.5mA/channel), these benefits are irrelevant if the device cannot drive the intended load. Furthermore, its larger input offset voltage (1.5mV) results in poorer DC accuracy. This amplifier is appropriate for low-power, high-speed signal chains with very light loads, but it cannot replace the OPA2674IDR in medium- to high-power drive applications.
