1. MCP6H72T-E/SN Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is essentially unfeasible. While the MCP6H72T-E/SN offers advantages in output drive capability (53 mA) and lower minimum operating voltage (3.5 V) compared to the original part, its key performance parameters show significant degradation. The input bias current (10 pA) is an order of magnitude higher than that of the original (1 pA), the input offset voltage (1 mV) exceeds the original’s 160 µV by more than 6×, and the quiescent current (480 µA) is three times higher. In applications requiring high input impedance, precision DC performance, or low power consumption—such as photoelectric sensor signal conditioning, high-impedance divider buffering, or battery-powered instrumentation—direct replacement with the MCP6H72T-E/SN would degrade system accuracy, increase offset error, and shorten battery life. It is therefore unsuitable as a drop-in substitute.
2. ALD2732ASAL Substitution Conclusion Substitution is not viable. Although the ALD2732ASAL is compatible with the original device in package and rail-to-rail output characteristics, its core performance parameters are uniformly inferior. The gain-bandwidth product (1.5 MHz) and slew rate (1.9 V/µs) are only half those of the original part, the input bias current (10 pA) is an order of magnitude higher, the input offset voltage (600 µV) is nearly four times greater, and the upper supply range (10 V) is narrower. In applications requiring moderate bandwidth, good transient response, or wider supply adaptability—such as intermediate-frequency signal conditioning, active filters, or systems operating at ±5 V supplies—direct replacement with the ALD2732ASAL would limit signal bandwidth, slow response speed, and prevent operation at higher supply voltages. The resulting performance degradation is substantial and does not meet substitution requirements.
