1. MCP6281RT-E/OT Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not viable; it can only be considered for downgraded use in specific applications with relaxed performance requirements. The key differences are as follows: The input offset voltage is as high as 3mV, six times that of the original part (500µV), leading to significantly degraded DC accuracy. This makes it unsuitable for applications requiring high-precision signal conditioning. Its output drive capability is only 25mA, far below the original's 85mA, limiting its ability to drive low-impedance or capacitive loads. Furthermore, both its slew rate (2.5V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (5MHz) are lower than those of the original part, reducing the maximum speed and bandwidth for signal processing. The sole advantage is a lower quiescent current (450µA), which may contribute to power savings. While the package is pin-compatible, the degradation in critical performance parameters prevents it from meeting the original design specifications.
2. AD8613AKSZ-R2 Substitution Conclusion
A direct substitution is completely non-viable. These are operational amplifiers with fundamentally different performance orientations and are not interchangeable. The core discrepancy lies in a vast gulf in dynamic performance: its gain-bandwidth product is only 400kHz and its slew rate is as low as 0.1V/µs, merely about 5.7% and 2% of the original part's specifications (7MHz, 5V/µs), respectively. This part can only process very low-frequency or slowly varying signals; any application involving audio, intermediate frequencies, or fast transient response will fail. While its input bias current (0.2pA) and quiescent current (38µA) are excellent parameters, these are characteristics of an ultra-low-power design achieved at the expense of speed. Additionally, its package (SC-70-5) is not fully footprint-compatible with the original (SOT-23-5), presenting a physical compatibility issue for direct replacement.
