The TL3474AIPW is compatible with the original device in terms of package and supply voltage range; however, significant differences in key parameters make it unsuitable as a direct replacement. The primary deviations are as follows: First, the TL3474AIPW is a general-purpose standard amplifier (non-JFET), and its input bias current (100 nA) is substantially higher than that of the JFET-based ADA4000 (5 pA). This can introduce considerable error in high-impedance or precision sensing applications. Second, its input offset voltage (1 mV) is an order of magnitude greater than that of the original part (200 µV), degrading DC accuracy. Third, the slew rate (13 V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (4 MHz) are slightly lower, which may affect high-speed signal response. Slew rate and bandwidth are also somewhat lower. While the supply range is compatible and output drive capability is slightly stronger, the gap in critical precision metrics is too large. This device is only suitable for ordinary amplification circuits with relaxed performance requirements and cannot meet the low-input-current, high-precision application scenarios specific to JFET amplifiers.
