The AD8546ARMZ-RL is not a viable direct replacement for the TLV2372IDGKRG4. The primary reason is its severely inadequate dynamic performance, which fails to meet the requirements of general-purpose applications covered by the original part. The most critical technical discrepancies lie in the gain-bandwidth product (200 kHz vs. 3 MHz) and slew rate (0.08 V/µs vs. 2.1 V/µs). Consequently, the AD8546 will suffer from a drastic gain reduction when processing signals at the same frequency and cannot respond quickly to steep input transitions. The root cause aligns with that of the AD8546ARMZ-RL: its dynamic performance (200 kHz GBW, 0.08 V/µs slew rate) is orders of magnitude inferior to the original part's specifications (3 MHz, 2.1 V/µs), failing to satisfy the basic bandwidth and speed requirements of the original design. While the AD8657 features excellent input offset voltage (350 µV), far superior to the original part's 2 mV and the AD8546's 3 mV, granting it a distinct advantage in applications demanding high DC precision (e.g., precision DC amplification), this benefit is completely overshadowed by its extremely low bandwidth and slew rate. It is only suitable for specific applications that are highly insensitive to speed and purely prioritize low power consumption and high DC accuracy. It cannot serve as a general-purpose substitute.
