1. TS1871ILT Substitution Conclusion The TS1871ILT offers only marginal advantages over the original LMP7731 in terms of output drive capability (80mA vs. 49mA) and maximum supply voltage (6V vs. 5.5V). However, it falls significantly short in core performance specifications. Its bandwidth (1.8 MHz vs. 22 MHz) and slew rate (0.6V/µs vs. 2.4V/µs) are drastically lower, rendering it incapable of handling mid-to-high frequency or fast-changing signals, indicating a severe deficiency in dynamic performance. Furthermore, its input offset voltage (100 µV vs. 6 µV) and input bias current (70 nA vs. 14 nA) are substantially worse, leading to a marked degradation in DC accuracy and performance for low-offset applications, such as precision sensor amplification. The TS1871ILT can only serve as a low-cost or high-drive substitute for low-speed applications with relaxed precision requirements. It is not suitable for the high-speed or precision applications intended for the original part.
2. MCP6241RT-E/OT Substitution Conclusion The feasibility of substituting with the MCP6241RT-E/OT is extremely low, as its key parameters differ from the original LMP7731 by orders of magnitude. Its extremely low bandwidth (550 kHz vs. 22 MHz) and slew rate (0.3V/µs vs. 2.4V/µs) confine it to ultra-low-frequency or static signal processing. Its large input offset voltage (5 mV vs. 6 µV) introduces non-negligible DC errors, making it entirely unsuitable for any application requiring DC precision. While its ultra-low input bias current (1 pA) and quiescent current (50µA) are distinct advantages, these are only beneficial for specific high-impedance sensor or ultra-low-power applications. The MCP6241RT-E/OT belongs to a fundamentally different class of operational amplifier. It could only be considered as a substitute in scenarios where signal frequencies are extremely low, offset and speed are not concerns, but input impedance or power consumption are critical. It is completely impractical for the vast majority of applications requiring "general-purpose" performance.
