1. LMV821SQ3T2G Substitution Conclusion This part is fully compatible with the original device in terms of supply voltage and package, providing the physical basis for a direct drop-in replacement. However, there is a significant compromise in key performance parameters. The reduction in gain bandwidth product (5.6 MHz vs. 8 MHz) and slew rate (2V/µs vs. 4.5V/µs) indicates diminished signal processing speed and bandwidth capability, making it unsuitable for applications demanding high speed. More critically, its input bias current (119 nA vs. 0.1 pA) is over 1000 times larger, and the input offset voltage (1 mV vs. 260 µV) is approximately 4 times greater. These degradations will significantly impact circuits with high-impedance signal sources or those requiring high-precision DC amplification, introducing non-negligible errors. Therefore, this device can only be considered a performance-downgraded substitute, suitable for general-purpose applications where speed and precision are not critical and signal source impedance is low.
2. LMV321LICT Substitution Conclusion This device is compatible with the original part in supply and package, but its specifications are orders of magnitude inferior, categorizing it as a low-performance alternative. Its gain bandwidth product (1.3 MHz) and slew rate (0.7V/µs) are far lower than the original's, limiting it to processing very low-frequency or slowly varying signals. Although its input bias current (27 nA) is lower than that of the LMV821, it is still hundreds of millions of times larger than the original part. Furthermore, its offset voltage (1 mV) is similarly poor, rendering it completely unusable in any application requiring high precision or a high-impedance interface. Its primary advantage is an extremely low quiescent current (130µA). Consequently, it is only suitable for the most basic signal buffering or switch control circuits that are power-sensitive and have no requirements for signal bandwidth or accuracy.
