1. AD8048ARZ Substitution Conclusion The AD8048ARZ is not a direct substitute for the LMH6609MAX/NOPB. Although the two devices are compatible in package (8-SOIC) and supply voltage range (6V to 12V), the AD8048 exhibits significant deficiencies in key high-speed performance metrics, including bandwidth, slew rate, output drive capability, and DC precision. Its -3dB bandwidth (260 MHz vs. 900 MHz) and slew rate (1000 V/µs vs. 1400 V/µs) are notably lower, limiting its ability to process high-frequency signals or fast transients. The lower output current (50 mA vs. 90 mA) restricts its capability to drive low-impedance loads. Furthermore, the higher input offset voltage (1 mV vs. 800 µV) may degrade accuracy in DC or precision AC applications.
