1. RE46C312S8F Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not viable. The RE46C312S8F is an ultra-low-power operational amplifier (consuming only 600nA per channel) but offers extremely low performance, placing it in a category entirely opposite to the original LMP7718, a high-performance precision op-amp. The critical differences are as follows: Its gain-bandwidth product (GBP) is merely 10kHz (compared to 88MHz), rendering it incapable of processing any mid-to-high-frequency signals. Its slew rate is only 0.003V/µs (vs. 11.5V/µs), resulting in extremely slow response to large signals and causing severe distortion. The input offset voltage is 3mV (vs. 10µV), a 300-fold difference, which would introduce unacceptable error in DC or precision applications. This part is suitable only for applications with extreme power sensitivity, where signal frequencies are extremely low (<<1kHz), and where both precision and speed are non-requirements. Substituting it for the LMP7718 would lead to severe degradation of system bandwidth and overall performance.
2. BU7266F-E2 Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not feasible. Similar to the RE46C312S8F, the BU7266F-E2 belongs to the ultra-low-power CMOS op-amp family (700nA), and its performance specifications are likewise significantly inferior to the original part. Key differentiators include: a gain-bandwidth product of only 4kHz (vs. 88MHz) and a slew rate of only 0.0024V/µs (vs. 11.5V/µs). These parameters fundamentally disqualify it from any high-speed signal processing task. Its output drive current is a mere 4mA (compared to 60mA), indicating very weak load-driving capability. The input offset voltage of 1mV (vs. 10µV) is insufficient for precision work. Furthermore, there is a slight difference in package body width (4.40mm vs. the original 3.90mm), which could potentially impact PCB layout. This amplifier is only appropriate for very low-frequency, micropower sensing circuits and cannot replace the LMP7718 intended for mid-to-high-frequency, high-precision applications.
