Direct substitution is not feasible. The BU7266SF-E2 is an ultra-low-power CMOS amplifier with several critical performance limitations. Its slew rate is only 0.0024 V/µs (compared to 11.5 V/µs for the LMP7718), and its gain-bandwidth product is merely 4 kHz (versus 88 MHz). Consequently, it cannot handle mid-to-high-frequency signals or fast transients and is suitable only for ultra-low-frequency or slowly varying DC signal applications. The input offset voltage of 1 mV (compared to 10 µV) results in significantly degraded DC accuracy, making it unsuitable for precision measurement circuits. With an output current capability of only 4 mA (versus 60 mA), its drive strength is extremely weak. Although its supply voltage can go as low as 1.8 V, offering a wider operating range, its overall performance is severely limited. It may serve only as a functional replacement in circuits with extremely low power consumption, low-frequency operation, and non-precision requirements.
2. BU7486F-E2 Substitution Conclusion
Substitution may be possible in certain applications but requires careful evaluation. The BU7486F-E2 offers speed characteristics closer to the original part: a slew rate of 10 V/µs (compared to 11.5 V/µs) and a gain-bandwidth product of 10 MHz (versus 88 MHz) are sufficient for many mid-frequency applications, though high-frequency performance remains notably inferior. The input offset voltage of 1 mV (compared to 10 µV) remains a critical bottleneck, degrading DC accuracy by more than two orders of magnitude and ruling it out for µV-level precision amplification. Its output current capability of 12 mA (versus 60 mA) is relatively low, and the minimum supply voltage of 3 V (compared to 2 V) restricts its use in low-voltage systems. If the circuit does not demand high DC precision and operates within moderate frequency ranges, substitution could be considered, provided system error and dynamic response are verified to be acceptable.
