1. RE46C312S8F Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not viable. The RE46C312S8F exhibits orders-of-magnitude deficiencies in its core parameters compared to the original part. Its gain-bandwidth product (10 kHz) is approximately 1/8800th that of the LMP7718 (88 MHz), and its slew rate (0.003 V/µs) is roughly 1/3800th of the original's (11.5 V/µs). Furthermore, its input offset voltage (3 mV) is 300 times worse than the original's specification (10 µV). This device is only capable of processing DC or very low-frequency signals (e.g., sub-audio). It is entirely unsuitable for the high-speed signal amplification, filtering, or ADC drive functions for which the original part was designed. Forced substitution would result in severe system bandwidth limitation and a complete failure of dynamic response. Its sole significant advantage is an ultra-low quiescent current (600 nA/channel), which gives it value only in applications with extreme power sensitivity and no performance requirements.
2. BU7266F-E2 Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is also not feasible. The BU7266F-E2's performance is similarly constrained to ultra-low frequencies. Its gain-bandwidth product (4 kHz) and slew rate (0.0024 V/µs) are even lower than those of the RE46C312S8F, and its output drive capability (4 mA) is far weaker than the original part's (60 mA). While its input bias current (1 pA) and offset voltage (1 mV) are superior to the RE46C312S8F, they remain 100 to 1000 times worse than the precision-grade LMP7718. This device cannot handle any mid-to-high frequency signals. Its weak output current also makes it incapable of driving any meaningful load, such as a subsequent ADC or transmission line. It is only applicable in near-DC applications like micropower sensor signal conditioning. It completely lacks the capability to substitute for a high-performance op-amp like the LMP7718.
