1. OP282GSZ Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended. While the OP282GSZ offers superior precision (input offset voltage of 200µV vs. 600µV), speed (slew rate of 9V/µs vs. 3.4V/µs), and bandwidth (4MHz vs. 2MHz) compared to the original part, several critical differences present significant substitution challenges. First, it is a dual-channel op-amp, whereas the original device is single-channel. This mismatch may introduce issues in PCB layout, power supply bypassing, and the handling of the unused channel. Second, its output drive capability (10mA) is significantly lower than that of the original part (80mA). If the original design drives a low-impedance load, the substitute will fail to operate correctly. Finally, its minimum operating voltage (9V) is higher than the original’s (7V), which may prevent proper startup in lower-voltage systems. Substitution could introduce multiple risks, ranging from system architecture and load matching to power supply compatibility.
2. AD8682ARZ Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended. The AD8682ARZ presents a situation highly similar to that of the OP282GSZ: it is also a dual-channel op-amp, which does not match the original single-channel architecture. Its output current (12mA) falls far short of the original part’s capability (80mA), resulting in severely inadequate drive strength. The minimum operating voltage is likewise 9V, failing to cover the original part’s lower limit of 7V. Although its slew rate (9V/µs) and bandwidth (3.5MHz) exceed those of the original device, and its input offset voltage (350µV) shows some improvement, the three fundamental differences—channel count, output current, and supply voltage range—prevent it from being a direct drop-in replacement for the TLE2061MDG4 in designs requiring single-channel operation, high output drive, or wide low-voltage supply operation.
