1. TS514IDT Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not viable and is only acceptable for non-critical applications where input impedance and drive capability are not required. The TS514IDT, being a general-purpose standard operational amplifier, is fundamentally different from the J-FET input TLE2064MDG4. Its input bias current (50 nA) is four orders of magnitude higher than that of the original part (4 pA). In circuits requiring extremely low input current, such as those involving high-impedance sensors, integrators, or sample-and-hold stages, the TS514IDT would introduce significant error or even fail to function. Furthermore, its output drive capability (23 mA) is substantially lower than the original's (80 mA), rendering it incapable of driving the same load. While its gain-bandwidth product (3 MHz) is slightly higher and its quiescent current is lower, these advantages cannot compensate for its critical shortcomings in core parameters.
2. LM2902EDR2G Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not feasible. It can only serve as a low-cost alternative under conditions of lower supply voltage and significantly reduced precision and performance requirements. The LM2902EDR2G is also a general-purpose standard op-amp, and its key parameters are severely mismatched with the original J-FET amplifier. Its excessively high input bias current (90 nA) completely negates the value of a J-FET amplifier in high-impedance interface applications. The input offset voltage (2 mV) is more than double that of the original part (900 µV), leading to a marked degradation in DC accuracy. Moreover, its slew rate is unspecified, typically indicating far inferior dynamic response performance (e.g., ability to handle fast signals) compared to the original (3.4 V/µs). Its wider minimum operating voltage (3V) is its sole advantage, but this is insufficient to qualify it as an adequate substitute.
