1. AD8028ARZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion
The AD8028ARZ-REEL7 is not recommended as a direct replacement for the TLV2432QDRG4Q1. Although both are dual-channel rail-to-rail output operational amplifiers with overlapping supply voltage ranges, their key parameters differ significantly. The AD8028 offers a much higher slew rate (100 V/µs) and bandwidth (190 MHz) compared to the original part (0.25 V/µs, 550 kHz), making it suitable for high-speed signal processing. However, its input bias current (4 µA) is six orders of magnitude higher than that of the original device (1 pA), resulting in extremely low input impedance that cannot meet the requirements of high-impedance sensor interfaces or precision measurement circuits. Additionally, its quiescent current (6.5 mA per channel) is substantially higher than that of the TLV2432 (200 µA per channel), leading to significantly increased power consumption. Furthermore, the AD8028 lacks AEC-Q100 automotive-grade qualification, which compromises reliability in automotive environments.
2. ALD2711ASAL Substitution Conclusion
The ALD2711ASAL may serve as a limited substitute for the TLV2432QDRG4Q1 under specific conditions, but system requirements must be rigorously evaluated. Both devices are CMOS-based and share the same quiescent current (200 µA), making them suitable for low-power applications. The ALD2711 offers a lower input bias current (0.01 pA) than the original part (1 pA), making it better suited for ultra-high-impedance signal sources. Its slew rate (1 V/µs) and gain-bandwidth product (1 MHz) are only marginally higher than those of the TLV2432, providing limited bandwidth improvement. A key limitation is its output drive capability (1 mA), which is far lower than that of the original device (50 mA) and insufficient to drive low-impedance loads. Moreover, its input offset voltage (800 µV) is notably worse than the original (300 µV), resulting in poorer DC accuracy. Like the AD8028, it also lacks AEC-Q100 certification, rendering it unsuitable for automotive electronics or high-precision systems.
