1. RE46C312S8F Substitution Conclusion
Not feasible. While the RE46C312S8F is compatible with the original part in terms of package and supply voltage range, its core performance parameters are orders of magnitude inferior. Its gain-bandwidth product (10 kHz) is only about 1/6000th of the original's (61 MHz), and its slew rate (0.003 V/µs) is approximately 1/5600th of the original's (17 V/µs). Furthermore, its input offset voltage (3 mV) is over 10 times higher than the original's (270 µV). This device is entirely incapable of handling the mid-to-high frequency signals the original design was intended for. Its extremely slow response will cause severe output signal distortion. It is only suitable for applications with no speed requirements, such as very low-frequency or DC signal processing. This substitution represents an excessive performance downgrade and is unsuitable.
2. BU7266F-E2 Substitution Conclusion
Not feasible. The BU7266F-E2 may be compatible with the original design in terms of package (8-SOP, slightly wider) and wide supply voltage range, but its performance metrics also exhibit an order-of-magnitude gap. Its gain-bandwidth product (4 kHz) and slew rate (0.0024 V/µs) are only about 1/15000th and 1/7000th of the original's, respectively, rendering it completely incapable of high-speed signal processing. Additionally, its output drive current (4 mA) is far lower than the original's (130 mA), giving it very weak capability to drive capacitive or low-impedance loads. This device is a CMOS amplifier specifically designed for ultra-low quiescent current (700 nA). It is only applicable for ultra-low-power, very low-frequency sensor signal conditioning and cannot meet the general-purpose high-speed signal amplification and processing requirements targeted by the original part.
