1. BU7266FVM-TR Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not viable. There are orders-of-magnitude differences in key dynamic performance parameters between this part and the original LMP7732MM/NOPB. The BU7266FVM-TR features a gain-bandwidth product of only 4kHz (vs. 22MHz) and a slew rate of merely 0.0024V/µs (vs. 2.4V/µs). It is completely incapable of handling any mid-to-high frequency or fast-changing signals and is suitable only for extremely low-frequency or pure DC applications (e.g., sensor buffering in ultra-low quiescent current scenarios). Furthermore, its 1mV input offset voltage (vs. 6µV) would introduce significant error in applications requiring high DC precision. While it boasts extremely low power consumption (700nA) and minimal input bias current (1pA), these come at the cost of virtually all bandwidth and speed. Its application domain is fundamentally different from that of the original part.
2. BU7486FVM-TR Substitution Conclusion
Conditional substitution is possible, but application requirements must be carefully evaluated. This part's dynamic performance is close to and, in some aspects, exceeds the original part. Its 10MHz bandwidth (vs. 22MHz) and 10V/µs slew rate (vs. 2.4V/µs) make it suitable for most mid-frequency signal processing applications. Key differences are as follows: First, its input offset voltage is as high as 1mV (vs. 6µV). In applications requiring high-precision DC amplification or small-signal (millivolt-level) processing, the resulting output error will be significant and may fail to meet precision measurement requirements. Second, its minimum operating voltage is 3V (vs. 1.8V), precluding its use in single-supply low-voltage systems between 1.8V and 3V. Third, its output drive current is 12mA (vs. 49mA), indicating weaker capability to drive low-impedance loads. Substitution can be considered if the application has low DC precision requirements, a supply voltage above 3V, and a light load.
