1. OPA336N/250 Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended. The OPA336N/250 is an ultra-low-power (20µA) operational amplifier with limited performance. Its gain-bandwidth product (100 kHz) and slew rate (0.03V/µs) are significantly lower than those of the original part (10 MHz, 7V/µs). It is incapable of handling mid-to-high-frequency signals or fast-transient signals and is only suitable for very low-bandwidth DC or slowly varying signal applications. Although it offers slight advantages in input offset voltage (60µV) and minimum supply voltage (2.3V), the substantial gap in core speed and bandwidth capability is too great. Substituting it into a circuit designed for the original part would result in severe performance degradation or functional failure.
2. OPA338NA/250 Substitution Conclusion Substitution is acceptable in most cases, but supply voltage compatibility must be verified. The OPA338NA/250 offers key dynamic performance (gain-bandwidth product of 12.5 MHz, slew rate of 4.6V/µs) that is in the same order of magnitude as, and slightly better than, the original part (10 MHz, 7V/µs). It is capable of handling similar mid-frequency applications such as audio or sensor signal conditioning. The primary difference is its higher minimum operating voltage of 2.7V (compared to 2.4V for the original part); it cannot be used if the system supply is at or below 2.7V. Its quiescent current (525µA) is relatively low, which is beneficial for power savings. The input offset voltage (500µV) is somewhat higher, but this is generally not a critical issue for most general-purpose applications.
