1. OPA2381AIDGKT Substitution Conclusion
The OPA2381AIDGKT has limited viability as a substitute and is applicable only under specific conditions. The key differences are as follows: First, it is a transimpedance amplifier (TIA), not a general-purpose op-amp. It is specifically optimized for converting current signals, such as from photodiodes, into voltage. Its use for general-purpose voltage amplification may be suboptimal. Second, its gain bandwidth product (GBWP) is only 18 MHz, significantly lower than the original part's 88 MHz. This will severely limit signal bandwidth and performance in high-gain or high-frequency applications. Third, its minimum supply voltage is 2.7V, higher than the original's 2V, restricting its use in very low-voltage systems. However, its input offset voltage (7 µV) and quiescent current (800 µA per channel) are superior to the original. In transimpedance or low-frequency precision amplification circuits where bandwidth is not critical but low offset and low power consumption are prioritized, it could serve as an alternative.
2. LMV358M8G-13 Substitution Conclusion
The LMV358M8G-13 is largely unsuitable as a substitute and should only be considered for applications with extremely low performance requirements. Its core performance parameters differ from the original part by orders of magnitude: a GBWP of only 1 MHz (vs. 88 MHz) and a slew rate of only 1 V/µs (vs. 11.5 V/µs). It is completely incapable of handling high-frequency or fast-changing signals, exhibiting severely inadequate dynamic response. Its high input offset voltage of 1.7 mV (vs. 10 µV) and input bias current of 15 nA (vs. 0.1 pA) indicate very poor DC precision, making it unfit for any application requiring precision amplification. Although it offers lower quiescent current and slightly higher output current capability, these advantages cannot compensate for its fundamental deficiencies in bandwidth, speed, and accuracy. It might only be considered for non-critical, low-frequency signal conditioning or switching control circuits where signal quality is not a concern.
