Original Part
Standard (General Purpose) Amplifier 1 Circuit Push-Pull, Rail-to-Rail SOT-23-5

Alternative Part
1. AD8601WARTZ-RL Substitution Conclusion
The AD8601WARTZ-RL is not a direct substitute for the V62/08618-01XE. While the two parts are compatible in basic specifications such as package (SOT-23-5), supply current (750µA), output current (50mA), and maximum supply voltage (5.5V), there are fundamental differences in critical precision parameters. These differences are primarily reflected in the input offset voltage (Vos) (1.3mV vs. 150µV, a difference of approximately 9x) and the input bias current (Ib) (200nA vs. 0.2pA, a difference of approximately 1 million times).
In circuits demanding high DC precision (such as precision sensor amplification or high-accuracy comparators) or those interfacing with high-impedance signal sources, the AD8601 will introduce significantly larger zero-point error and input current error compared to the original part. This could lead to severe degradation of system accuracy or even functional failure.
Furthermore, the AD8601's minimum operating voltage (2.7V) is slightly higher than that of the original part (2.5V), rendering it inoperative in very low-voltage applications within the 2.5V–2.7V range.
Its advantages include a higher gain-bandwidth product (8.4MHz vs. 5.5MHz) and automotive-grade qualification. However, these benefits are insufficient to offset the substantial gap in its core precision metrics.
If substitution is considered, a thorough re-evaluation and validation of the specific application circuit is mandatory. This must assess whether the precision, bandwidth, and low-temperature drift performance meet the required specifications.
