1. MAX4289ESA+ Substitution Conclusion
Not a direct replacement. Although the MAX4289ESA+ shares the same package and exhibits extremely low power consumption (18µA), its core performance differs fundamentally from the original part: the gain-bandwidth product is only 17kHz (original: 60MHz), and the slew rate is merely 0.006V/µs (original: 32V/µs). This device can only process very low-frequency or static signals and is entirely unsuitable for the original part's intended applications, such as high-speed amplification, signal conditioning, or ADC driving. Their design targets are completely different (micropower precision vs. general-purpose high-speed).
2. AD8061ARZ Substitution Conclusion
Conditional replacement. The AD8061ARZ significantly surpasses the original part in key dynamic performance: gain-bandwidth product of 320MHz (original: 60MHz) and slew rate of 650V/µs (original: 32V/µs), making it suitable for higher-speed applications. However, note that its input bias current is considerably higher at 3.5µA (original: 6pA), which may introduce significant error in high-impedance sensing or precision DC amplification circuits. Additionally, its quiescent current is slightly higher (6.8mA), and its supply voltage range extends up to 8V. If the system demands strict high-speed performance and can tolerate higher power consumption and input bias current, it can serve as an upgraded substitute, but stability and noise performance must be re-evaluated.
