1. AD706JRZ-REEL Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended. The AD706 is a standard bipolar op-amp, whose key differences lie in its very low input offset voltage (30µV vs. 3mV) and moderate input bias current (50pA), making it suitable for high-precision DC applications. However, its slew rate (0.15V/µs) and bandwidth (800kHz) are significantly lower than those of the TL082AIYDT (16V/µs, 4MHz), which would cause severe distortion in high-speed signal processing or high-frequency applications. Furthermore, its output drive capability (15mA vs. 40mA) is weaker and may be insufficient to drive the same load. If the original design relies on the high input impedance and fast response of a JFET op-amp, substitution will result in performance mismatch.
2. OP282GSZ-REEL7 Substitution Conclusion Conditional substitution is feasible. The OP282 is also a JFET-input op-amp with bandwidth (4MHz) matching that of the TL082AIYDT, while offering superior input bias current (3pA) and offset voltage (200µV), making it well-suited for high-impedance sensor signal conditioning. However, its slew rate (9V/µs) is only half that of the TL082, which may lead to slightly degraded large-signal high-frequency response. Additionally, its output current (10mA vs. 40mA) is notably lower, limiting its drive capability for low-impedance loads. If the application does not require high output current or extreme slew rate, and the supply voltage is ≥9V (compared to the TL082's minimum of 6V), the OP282 can functionally replace the TL082 while improving precision and reducing power consumption (210µA vs. 1.4mA). Actual validation of transient response and load compatibility is recommended.
