1. LT1352IS8TR Substitution Conclusion
The LT1352IS8TR is not recommended as a direct replacement. While its bandwidth (3 MHz) matches the original part and its input offset voltage (200 µV) and input bias current (20 nA) are superior, a key limitation is its minimum operating voltage of 5V. The original TS512IYDT can operate down to 3V, rendering the LT1352 unsuitable for single-supply or low-voltage dual-supply systems in the 3V to 5V range. Furthermore, its output drive capability (14 mA) is lower than that of the original part (23 mA), which may be insufficient for driving heavier loads. Although its slew rate (200V/µs) is exceptionally high, making it suitable for high-speed signals, and its quiescent current (250µA per channel) is lower, aiding in power conservation, it can only be considered in applications where low-voltage operation is not required and high speed and precision are prioritized. Otherwise, due to power supply compatibility issues, it is not a viable direct substitute.
2. BA4558F-E2 Substitution Conclusion
The BA4558F-E2 is largely unsuitable as a feasible replacement. Its most critical limitation is the supply voltage range (8V to 30V), which severely mismatches the original part's range (3V to 30V), making it completely non-functional in systems operating below 8V. In terms of electrical performance, its gain-bandwidth product (2 MHz), slew rate (1.2V/µs), and output drive current (10 mA) are all lower or significantly lower than the original specifications (3 MHz, 1.5V/µs, 23 mA). This represents a comprehensive downgrade in bandwidth, large-signal response speed, and load-driving capability. While its input offset voltage (500 µV) is identical, it lacks explicit AEC-Q100 automotive-grade qualification, posing a reliability risk for the originally intended automotive applications. In summary, this part fails to meet substitution requirements in terms of power supply compatibility, performance, and certification.
