1. M3933/30-19S Substitution Conclusion
From the perspective of key electrical parameters, the M3933/30-19S fully covers and exceeds the original SA26B-09 part. The primary distinction is its extended frequency range of 0–32 GHz, which surpasses the original's 0–26 GHz. Meanwhile, the attenuation value (9 dB), power handling (2 W), and interface type (SMA In-Line Module) remain identical. Across the entire frequency band of the original design (26 GHz and below), the M3933/30-19S is a direct electrical replacement with additional performance margin. Provided its mechanical dimensions and mounting configuration are fully compatible, it can be considered a performance-equivalent or superior substitution.
2. SA6-09 Substitution Conclusion
The SA6-09 is not suitable as a general-purpose replacement for the SA26B-09. Its fundamental limitation is a frequency range of only 0–6 GHz, which is significantly narrower than the original part's 0–26 GHz. If the system operates above 6 GHz, this attenuator will not provide the specified 9 dB attenuation. Parameters such as insertion loss and VSWR will degrade severely, leading to signal distortion, degraded system performance, or outright failure. Its use should be strictly confined to applications definitively limited to frequencies below 6 GHz.
