2. SA3SR-20 Substitution Conclusion
The SA3SR-20 is not suitable as a direct replacement for the original FMAT7466-20 part, primarily due to its limited operating frequency range (0–3 GHz). Performance of this part degrades sharply above 3 GHz, preventing it from delivering stable and accurate 20 dB attenuation within the original design’s required upper frequency of 12 GHz.
