1. LCAT1000-07 Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not recommended. While the LCAT1000-07 matches the Original Part (FMAT7467-7) in attenuation value, power rating, and interface, its frequency range (0–6 GHz) is only half that of the Original Part (0–12 GHz). This is a critical limitation: in the 6 GHz to 12 GHz band, the performance of the LCAT1000-07—including attenuation accuracy, impedance matching (VSWR), and power handling—cannot be guaranteed and may deviate significantly from specified values. Such deviations could lead to high-frequency signal distortion, increased reflection, or degraded system performance. Therefore, the LCAT1000-07 is suitable only for applications where the operating frequency is confirmed not to exceed 6 GHz.
2. LCAT1001-07 Substitution Conclusion
Substitution is completely unacceptable. Although the LCAT1001-07 shares basic parameters such as attenuation value and power rating with the Original Part, its frequency range (0–3 GHz) is substantially narrower than that of the Original Part (0–12 GHz). This fundamental mismatch restricts the device to low-frequency applications below 3 GHz. At any frequency above 3 GHz, its performance will degrade sharply or become unusable, failing to meet any requirement of the original broadband design extending to 12 GHz. Forced substitution would result in complete performance collapse of the RF link in the high-frequency band.
