The SA6-08 cannot serve as a full replacement for the original FMAT7467-8 part. The key discrepancy lies in its frequency range, which is limited to 0–6 GHz, whereas the original component supports 0–12 GHz. If your application operates above 6 GHz—as in certain C- or X-band implementations—the SA6-08 will introduce excessive insertion loss and performance degradation. Consequently, it cannot guarantee system signal integrity or meet power transmission requirements at higher frequencies.
2. SA18H-08 Substitution Conclusion
The SA18H-08 is electrically compatible with and can substitute the original FMAT7467-8, offering superior performance in some respects. Its frequency range is extended to 0–18 GHz, fully covering and exceeding the original 0–12 GHz specification. Across the entire bandwidth of the original design, it maintains excellent attenuation accuracy and impedance matching, while also providing headroom for potential future frequency upgrades. However, note a mechanical interface consideration: the described "PLUG-JACK" orientation may be mirrored relative to the original "JACK-PLUG" configuration. During installation, it may be necessary to adjust the sequence or orientation of connecting cables to ensure physical compatibility.
