1. LCAT1000-08 Substitution Conclusion
The LCAT1000-08 can serve as a downgrade substitute for the original part FMAT7467-8 in applications up to 6 GHz. Both parts share identical key specifications, including attenuation value (8 dB), power handling (2 W), and connector interface (SMA). The primary difference lies in the frequency range: the LCAT1000-08 covers 0–6 GHz, which is half that of the original part (0–12 GHz). If the system operates above 6 GHz, the substitute cannot maintain the rated attenuation accuracy and matching performance. This may result in excessive signal attenuation, increased reflection, and degraded system performance. Therefore, the LCAT1000-08 is not a suitable replacement for frequencies above 6 GHz.
2. LCAT1001-08 Substitution Conclusion
The LCAT1001-08 is only suitable for substituting the original FMAT7467-8 in low-frequency applications up to 3 GHz. The main deviation from the original part is again the significantly reduced frequency range (0–3 GHz versus 0–12 GHz), which is only one‑quarter of the original. While other parameters such as attenuation, power rating, and interface are the same, its performance above 3 GHz will deviate substantially from the nominal values. This can lead to high‑frequency signal distortion and system instability. Consequently, the LCAT1001-08 should only be used in scenarios where the operating frequency is strictly limited to 3 GHz or below, offering limited versatility.
