1. 32AS102-K20S3 Substitution Conclusion
In applications where the frequency requirement does not exceed 18 GHz, the 32AS102-K20S3 can be substituted for the SA26B-20, as their core parameters—attenuation (20 dB), power rating (2 W), and impedance (50 Ω)—are identical, and their mechanical interfaces are compatible (SMA coaxial structure). The key difference lies in the frequency range: the original part supports 0 Hz to 26 GHz, whereas the 32AS102-K20S3 is only specified for 0 Hz to 18 GHz. The substitute part cannot guarantee attenuation accuracy and VSWR performance in the high-frequency band (18–26 GHz). Therefore, if the system operates above 18 GHz, substitution may lead to signal distortion or performance degradation. For systems operating at or below 18 GHz, direct replacement is acceptable.
2. SA3R-20 Substitution Conclusion
The SA3R-20 is not a suitable substitute for the SA26B-20 unless the system operates at very low frequencies (≤3 GHz). While both share the same attenuation, power rating, impedance, and interface type, the critical difference is their frequency range: the original part covers up to 26 GHz, while the SA3R-20 is only rated for 0 Hz to 3 GHz. Above 3 GHz, the SA3R-20’s performance in attenuation accuracy, insertion loss, and VSWR will degrade significantly. This can result in substantial inaccuracies in high-frequency signal attenuation, increased reflection, and potential device damage. Consequently, the SA3R-20 is only suitable for low-frequency applications and cannot meet the requirements of broadband or high-frequency systems.
