If your system or test signal frequency exceeds 3 GHz, using the LCAT1001-10 will introduce significant additional attenuation—its attenuation increases sharply and unpredictably above its nominal frequency. Furthermore, impedance mismatch may cause signal reflections, severely degrading system performance. Consequently, it is only suitable for low-frequency applications below 3 GHz and cannot replicate the original part's wideband capability.
2. LCAT1000-10 Substitution Conclusion Conditional substitution, requiring strict evaluation. The LCAT1000-10 has a frequency range of DC-6 GHz, which is better than the LCAT1001-10 but still far below the original part's 18 GHz.
