1. SA6H-09 Substitution Conclusion
The SA6H-09 can only serve as a limited substitute for the original component. Its primary limitation is its frequency range (0–6 GHz), which is significantly narrower than the original part's 18 GHz. This device is suitable only for applications operating below 6 GHz, such as cellular communications, Wi‑Fi, and general‑purpose microwave links. If the system operates above 6 GHz—for example, in Ku‑band satellite communications, certain radar systems, or test and measurement applications—using the SA6H‑09 will introduce unpredictable additional losses, impedance mismatch, and performance degradation, and may even damage the component. Therefore, it must not be substituted unless the system's maximum operating frequency is confirmed to be ≤6 GHz.
2. LCAT1002-09 Substitution Conclusion
The LCAT1002-09 has even lower substitution feasibility due to its more restricted frequency range (0–3 GHz). This key parameter limits its use to low‑frequency applications within the UHF band and below, such as radio/TV broadcasting and certain mobile communications. It cannot cover the mid‑ to high‑frequency microwave bands (3–18 GHz, including C, X, and Ku bands) supported by the original component. In any system operating above 3 GHz, the LCAT1002‑09 is absolutely unsuitable as a replacement; using it would result in fundamental system failure.
