1. SA3SR-20 Substitution Conclusion Not feasible unless the system operating frequency is strictly limited to below 3 GHz. The key difference with the SA3SR-20 lies in its frequency range (DC–3 GHz), which is significantly narrower than the original part’s DC–18 GHz. In the high-frequency band from 3 GHz to 18 GHz, the attenuation value of this attenuator will deviate substantially from the nominal 20 dB, insertion loss will increase, and impedance mismatch may cause signal reflection. This could degrade system performance or even damage preceding components. Therefore, it can only serve as a downgraded substitute for low-frequency applications.
2. LCAT1000-20 Substitution Conclusion Conditionally feasible, suitable for mid- to low-frequency systems. The difference with the LCAT1000-20 is that although its frequency range (DC–6 GHz) is better than that of the SA3SR-20, it still does not cover the full DC–18 GHz bandwidth of the original part. Performance cannot be guaranteed in the high-frequency range from 6 GHz to 18 GHz. For applications operating below 6 GHz, it can be used as a direct replacement; however, for full-bandwidth or high-frequency applications, there is a performance risk, making it a bandwidth-degraded substitution option.
