1. LCAT1000-07 Substitution Conclusion
The LCAT1000-07 cannot directly replace the original part LCAT1006-07. The core difference lies in the operating frequency range: the original part covers DC–18 GHz, whereas the LCAT1000-07 is limited to DC–6 GHz. If the signal frequency in the application exceeds 6 GHz—such as in C‑band satellite communications, Ku‑band, or certain radar systems—using the LCAT1000‑07 will cause significant deviation from its specified 7 dB attenuation and 50 Ω impedance. This will lead to signal reflection, excessive insertion loss, and distortion, potentially damaging downstream sensitive components or causing system failure.
2. LCAT1001-07 Substitution Conclusion
The LCAT1001-07 cannot directly replace the original part LCAT1006-07. The key technical limitation is again the operating frequency range: the original part supports up to 18 GHz, while the LCAT1001-07 is rated only up to 3 GHz. This part is suitable only for low‑frequency applications in the UHF band and below, such as certain wireless communications and television broadcasting. If used in systems operating at the upper end of the S‑band (2–4 GHz) or higher frequencies—for example, the 5 GHz bands of Wi‑Fi 5/6/6E or X‑band radar—its attenuation accuracy and impedance matching cannot be guaranteed. This would introduce unacceptable signal‑integrity issues and risks of degraded system performance.
