Within the target frequency band (6GHz and below), the FMAT1012 provides equivalent attenuation performance and power capacity. It can be directly installed as a drop-in replacement without requiring changes to cable routing or additional adapters, ensuring no compromise in performance or mechanical compatibility.
2. FMAT7466-6 Substitution Conclusion
The FMAT7466-6 can serve as a higher-performance alternative to the LCAT1000-06, but presents an interface compatibility risk. Its primary technical advantage is an extended frequency range of DC-12GHz. For applications above 6GHz (such as certain satellite communications and test/measurement scenarios), it maintains superior attenuation accuracy and performance. However, its connector is specified as "JACK-PLUG" (female-to-male), which appears to be the reverse gender order of the original part's "MALE T" (male-to-female) description. Direct substitution could therefore invert the connection sequence in the line.
