1. LCAT1001-06 Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not feasible; it may only be considered for downgraded use under limited conditions. The LCAT1001-06 differs from the original part in its operational frequency range, which is limited to DC–3 GHz, significantly lower than the original part’s DC–6 GHz. Within the 3 GHz to 6 GHz frequency band, key performance parameters such as attenuation accuracy, impedance matching, and power handling cannot be guaranteed. This may lead to increased system insertion loss, higher signal reflection, and potential device damage. Therefore, it should only be used in non‑critical applications where the operating frequency is confirmed not to exceed 3 GHz.
2. FMAT7620-6 Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is fully viable, with performance advantages over the original part. The FMAT7620-6 differs from the original part in its extended frequency range of DC–18 GHz, which fully covers and exceeds the original DC–6 GHz requirement. Across the entire 0–6 GHz band specified in the original design, the substitute offers improved electrical performance with additional margin—such as flatter attenuation response and better VSWR—ensuring system reliability and consistency. It represents an ideal drop‑in replacement with equivalent or superior performance.
