1. LT1469IN8 Substitution Conclusion
Direct substitution is not recommended. Although the two devices are pin-compatible, their core power supply voltage ranges (5–9V for the LT1469IN8 vs. 7–32V for the MUSES8820D) are critically mismatched. If the original circuit operates above 9V, the substitute device will be damaged—this is an insurmountable hardware limitation. Furthermore, its output drive capability (22mA) is only half that of the original part (50mA), which may prove insufficient in audio applications driving low-impedance loads such as headphones. While it offers significantly superior precision (input offset voltage of 50µV), speed (slew rate of 22V/µs), and bandwidth (90MHz) compared to the original part, these advantages are irrelevant in light of the fundamental incompatibility in supply voltage.
2. AD827JNZ Substitution Conclusion
Substitution is generally feasible in terms of supply voltage and drive capability, but significant differences in performance focus must be noted. The AD827JNZ’s supply voltage range (9–36V) fully covers and slightly exceeds that of the original part. Its output current (32mA), though somewhat lower, remains adequate for most applications. Its overwhelming speed (slew rate of 300V/µs) makes it far superior to the original part (5V/µs) when handling high-frequency or fast-transient signals. However, this comes at the cost of an input bias current (3.3µA) that is two orders of magnitude higher than that of the original part (100nA). In applications with high-impedance signal sources, this will introduce greater input offset error and noise, potentially rendering it unsuitable for certain high-precision, low-noise Hi-Fi audio preamplifier circuits. It is better suited as a high-speed, wide-voltage general-purpose operational amplifier for replacing the MUSES8820D in audio or signal conditioning circuits where extremely low input bias current is not a critical requirement.
