1. LMV321IDCKT Substitution Conclusion Direct substitution is not recommended and is generally impractical. While the package is compatible and both devices feature rail-to-rail output, two key parameters differ significantly. First, its minimum operating voltage is 2.7V, substantially higher than the 1.5V of the TSV6291AICT. This renders it non-functional in low-voltage systems such as 1.8V or 1.5V rails, severely limiting its applicability. Second, its input bias current is as high as 15nA, which is 15,000 times greater than the original part (1pA). In circuits interfacing with high-impedance sensors (e.g., photodiodes, pH electrodes) or requiring high-precision integration, this will introduce substantial offset error and DC drift, leading to severe degradation of signal accuracy.
2. LMV611MG/NOPB Substitution Conclusion Substitution is conditional and requires rigorous evaluation of the application context. This part is closer to the original part in terms of supply voltage range (1.8V to 5.5V) and output current capability, and the package is compatible. The key differentiator remains the input bias current (14nA). Although slightly better than the LMV321, it is still four orders of magnitude (14,000 times) higher than the TSV6291AICT. It is unsuitable for replacement in any application sensitive to input DC error, such as precision sensor front-ends or high-value resistor feedback networks. Substitution may only be considered in scenarios where the input source is a low-impedance driver, or in AC-coupled signal processing where DC precision requirements are extremely relaxed.
