1. BU7261SG-TR Substitution Conclusion The BU7261SG-TR can serve as a limited substitute for the ISL28113FHZ-T7 in general-purpose applications where power consumption and precision are not critical. The key differences are as follows: First, its quiescent current is nearly three times higher (250µA vs. 90µA), which would significantly reduce battery life in power-sensitive applications. Second, the input offset voltage is an order of magnitude larger (1 mV vs. 500 µV), degrading system offset and accuracy in circuits amplifying weak DC signals or requiring high precision. Third, it offers lower output drive capability (12 mA vs. 22 mA), which may lead to insufficient performance when driving heavy loads, such as low-impedance or capacitive loads. Although its slew rate (1.1V/µs) and bandwidth (2 MHz) are comparable to the original part, the aforementioned differences preclude its use in applications emphasizing low power, high accuracy, or strong output drive.
2. BU7271G-TR Substitution Conclusion The BU7271G-TR is not a viable direct replacement for the ISL28113FHZ-T7. It is only suitable for specialized, extremely low-speed applications where ultra-low power consumption is the paramount concern. Its core performance metrics differ from the original part by orders of magnitude: the gain-bandwidth product is only 90 kHz (vs. 2 MHz), and the slew rate is a mere 0.05V/µs (vs. 1V/µs). This limits the circuit to processing sub-audio, very low-frequency signals; it is completely incapable of handling the bandwidth (e.g., several kHz and above) or fast transient response tasks for which the original part was intended. Its output current (8 mA) is also lower. The sole significant advantage is its extremely low quiescent current (8.6µA vs. 90µA), giving it unique value in always-on, ultra-low-power sensor signal conditioning applications, but this comes at a substantial performance sacrifice.
