However, its minimum supply voltage (3 V) is higher than that of the original (1.8 V), which restricts its use in low-voltage applications. Moreover, its quiescent current (6 mA) is substantially higher than the original’s 300 µA per channel, leading to significantly increased power consumption. Other drawbacks include a poorer input offset voltage (1 mV), which may affect DC accuracy, and a lower output current (12 mA). If the application prioritizes high-speed performance and can accommodate the higher power and voltage constraints, substitution may be considered, but a thorough re-evaluation of supply and precision requirements is necessary.
