1. TLV2372IDGKR Substitution Conclusion
From a direct replacement perspective, feasibility is low, with the primary risk being a significant increase in power consumption. The quiescent current per channel of the TLV2372 (750µA) is over 40 times greater than that of the original part, the AD8546 (18µA). In battery-powered or low-power designs, this would drastically reduce system standby time, which is likely unacceptable. While the TLV2372 offers substantial advantages in bandwidth (3 MHz vs. 200 kHz) and slew rate (2.1V/µs vs. 0.08V/µs), enabling it to handle higher frequency and faster-changing signals, its standard amplifier architecture provides an excellent input bias current (1 pA) comparable to the original CMOS amplifier's (5 pA). Substitution should only be considered in applications with a critical need for dynamic performance where the power penalty is completely irrelevant. For designs fundamentally reliant on the original part's ultra-low quiescent current, this substitution is not viable.
2. TLV2402IDGKRG4 Substitution Conclusion
From a direct replacement perspective, feasibility is extremely low, with the core issue being severely inadequate dynamic performance. The TLV2402's gain-bandwidth product (5.5 kHz) and slew rate (0.0025V/µs) are far inferior to the original part's specifications (200 kHz, 0.08V/µs). It cannot effectively amplify signals with frequencies above a few kHz, and its output response is extremely slow. Within the original circuit's operational bandwidth, this would lead to severe signal distortion or an inability to follow the input. Although it offers significant advantages in ultra-low quiescent current (0.9µA per channel) and input offset voltage (390µV), its output drive capability (200 µA) is also much weaker than the original part's (12 mA). This device is only suitable for specific ultra-low-power applications processing DC or very low-frequency signals. It cannot perform the general-purpose audio-band or medium-speed signal conditioning tasks covered by the original part and therefore cannot serve as a universal substitute.
