AD621BRZ-RL Substitution Conclusion Given that the AD621BRZ-RL matches the LT1167ACS8-1 in basic parameters such as package, supply voltage range, quiescent current, and slew rate, it can serve as a functional substitute. However, the impact of its reduced accuracy must be carefully evaluated. The key differences are: the input bias current increases to 500pA (10× that of the original part), introducing greater error when measuring high-impedance signal sources; the input offset voltage rises to 50µV (approximately 3.3× that of the original part), directly degrading the absolute accuracy of DC measurements; and the bandwidth specification shifts from a gain-bandwidth product of 1MHz to a -3dB bandwidth of 800kHz—though of the same order, the specifications are expressed differently. If the application demands extremely high microvolt-level signal accuracy and low bias current (e.g., a precision sensor front-end), substitution is not feasible. If the system has sufficient margin or relaxed requirements for these accuracy parameters, direct replacement can be implemented.
